Timeform take you through the card at Southwell on Tuesday...
"His half-brother won on fibresand and he's an interesting contender."
13:30 - An interesting contest with Pacific Fleet, who has some strong form from last summer but has an absence to overcome, up against DAWN DANCER (6), who split a couple of subsequent winners when second at this track in November. Both should run well here but Dawn Dancer is perhaps slightly more solid in terms of the Placepot.
14:00 - This isn't a strong contest and FOXY LADY (1) has one of the best bits of form in the race, having finished a close second to the progressive Crown of Cortez at Newcastle last year. She hasn't built on that since, but has had excuses on both subsequent starts, and is interesting here now back off a break.
14:30 - MAKE GOOD (2) had excuses when well beaten on his last start at Epsom (heavy ground and his yard were going through a quiet spell), and it'd be no surprise to see him bounce back having had a break/been gelded. His half-brother won on fibresand and he's an interesting contender for connections that do well here.
15:05 - RAZIN' HELL (5) has fallen to a good mark and has been knocking on the door at this track recently, finishing second on two of his last three starts and having some sort of excuse when only fourth last time (possibly did too much). He should give another good account here and can place again.
15:35 - The penalised ARCHIMEDES (1) recorded his fourth success at five furlongs when winning at this track last time and though he has been below form in a handful of tries at this longer trip, he shaped as though he'd be suited by it (soon off the bridle last time before staying on strongly) so should take a bit of stopping here.
16:10 - It wouldn't be a big surprise if JACK BLANE (1) found one too good again here, but he is clearly on a good mark and clearly goes well on this surface (two placed efforts here last month), so looks a solid Placepot option in a tight race.
16:40 - Hardly a convincing bunch, nearly half the field having a Timeform squiggle attached to their rating, and course specialist Star Ascending is probably going to be hard to beat, arriving here after notching a second fibresand win of the winter here last month.
