Southwell stages a six-race card on Thursday

Timeform take you through the card at Southwell on Thursday...

"With further progress on the cards, she can confirm form over Kadiz despite the turn around at the weights. "

Timeform on Hanati

13:15 - Top-weight HANDSOME BOB (1) looked a fibresand natural when making a successful debut here a month ago and his follow-up claims from 4 lb higher appear to be bright. Timeform 'Horse In Docus' Angel's Acclaim and Anna Jammeela also arrive in excellent order and are feared most in what looks a strong race for the grade.

13:45 - The Simon Crisford-trained filly HANATI (3) had clearly derived plenty from her C&D debut experience when making it second time lucky at Wolverhampton 2 weeks ago, making all and always having matters in command. With further progress on the cards, she can confirm form over Kadiz despite the turn around at the weights. Timeform top-rated So Hi Speed is also worth keeping an eye on returning from a break.

14:20 - The experienced FOOLAAD (2) is a prolific winner on artificial surfaces and his effort at Newcastle 16 days ago after 11 weeks off suggests he's ready to strike. Moonraker made it 2 wins from 3 starts on fibresand on New Year's Day and is next best ahead of Samovar, whose trainer is always respected at his local track.

14:55 - DOMMERSEN (1) caught the eye of the stopwatch men when doing well under the circumstances when narrowly denied at Newcastle last week, having been left poorly placed, and looks capable of striking while the iron is hot. Temur Khan is well respected in his follow-up bid, with Mr Carbonator another to consider for an in-form yard. SOCIOLOGIST (7) also makes some appeal at a much bigger price. He represents a yard that does very well when fitting their horses with new headgear for the first time, and it's hoped that first-time blinkers will spark a return to the form that saw him win an 11f maiden here by seven lengths in November.

15:30 - He's a short price, but his looks a good chance for the well-regarded JAHBATH (1) to get the hat-trick up so long as he takes to the new surface. Coolagh Forest could have more to offer for his top yard now tackling fibresand for the first time, while C&D winner Whenapoet is back up markedly in class so is easy enough to take on.

16:05 - With no Gabrials Centurion in the field, preference is for SIDE EFFECT (6). She may have won a weak race here last time but she did it very well and should not be dismissed in her follow-up bid from 7 lb higher. The year-older mare Dashing Poet is respected, while Majestic Moon could also figure.
