Timeform attempt to land the Placepot on the final day of Royal Ascot 2015.
"We’re going to take a bit of a risk by banking in the Diamond Jubilee. Brazen Beau has the best form in the field and plenty of promise, too..."
14:30 - Nameform followers will presumably be all over Ballydoyle, who represents exactly the connections you'd expect. More solid form claims are held by the experienced, professional-looking Tonkinese and French raider Suits You.
15:05 - On a card that contains few opportunities to bank, allied to the fact that we wish to oppose one or two of the more obvious sorts, we can make the case for going with Mahsoob here. You get the impression he's still learning, but if that's so he's surely bound for the top, such was the impression he created with a finishing rattle to win at York's Dante meeting.
15:40 - We want to be against Telescope at so short a price, though with only seven in the field overall we can't get too cute. Postponed is, in our view, the main threat, while Eagle Top is also well worth his place at this sort of level. One of them should be placed, even if Telescope does prove too strong.
16:20 - We're going to take a bit of a risk by banking in the Diamond Jubilee. Brazen Beau has the best form in the field and plenty of promise, too, being still relatively unexposed for a top-end sprinter. A stiff six furlongs should prove no problem given he has form up to a mile in his native Australia.
17:00 - The Wokingham really is compelling viewing, for all it's such a treacherous punting race. Our best option is to plump for one drawn low, one drawn middle and one drawn high. Low: the ever-threatening Zarwaan. Middle: the progressive Huntsmans Close. And high: the experienced, bang-in-form Ruwaiyan.
17:35 - We don't have too much of an issue with Wicklow Brave being a warm order on form, more with his stamina. He's a speedy hurdler and his Flat starts this season have been characterised by strong travelling. Were this tugboats' Derby not at Royal Ascot, he wouldn't be tried over the trip. Granted, none of his major rivals are complete plodders, though Oriental Fox and Marzocco at least look as though they'll thrive over an extreme trip.
