Timeform focus on the Flat racing at Redcar for Sunday's attempt at the Placepot...

Wiener Valkyrie was gambled on and ran well to finish runner-up at Lingfield last time, leaving the impression that there's an even bigger performance in the locker...

14:00- Richard Fahey has won this maiden for the past two seasons and he saddles an interesting newcomer in Ormskirk. Ormskirk's sales price jumped from £11,000 as a yearling to £60,000 as a two-year-old and, making plenty of appeal on pedigree, it would be little surprise to see him go well. We will also include My Two Scoops as he showed promise when finishing sixth on debut at Ayr and ought to have derived tremendous benefit from the experience.

14:30- Ronya proved competitive off similar marks in handicaps in 2014 and she returned to form on her first run for this yard over 10f here last month. She holds solid claims if building on that encouraging return and is worth including in the Placepot. We will also include Nonagon as he ran his best race to date when finishing second in a first-time tongue strap over at Newcastle in May and may be capable of bouncing back from a below-par effort last time.

15:05- With Wiggle an absentee, this looks a good opportunity for the lightly-raced Racing Angel to follow up a recent win at Leicester. Racing Angel was making her handicap bow at Leicester and she proved to be well treated as she justified market support, keeping on in pleasing fashion and showcasing a straightforward attitude. She should progress again and can make light of a rise in the weights.

15:40- Commissar was disappointing at Chester last time but he was awkward leaving the stalls and it is well worth forgiving that effort. He'd previously been going through a good spell, however, putting up two creditable placed efforts either side of a Goodwood handicap win, and should bounce back to form. We will also include three-time C&D winner Valantino Oyster as, while he's not won for a year, he's shown glimmers of form in handicaps and is worthy of consideration in this company.

16:10- Steelriver has been given a chance by the handicapper of late and shaped well at Thirsk earlier this month. He's excused a below-par run over an inadequate five furlongs at York last time and should find this a more suitable test. Vallarta is prone to throwing in the odd stinker and didn't run too well last time, but he's the type to bounce back quickly and is fairly treated having won from a 3-lb lower mark on his penultimate start, so he makes some appeal.

16:45- Wiener Valkyrie was gambled on and ran well to finish runner-up at Lingfield last time, leaving the impression that there's an even bigger performance in the locker. She's a big player back at scene of her two-year-old win and looks sure to go close.
