Plumpton's field sizes appeal more than Leicester's on Monday.
"Money has come for Moreece, though to select him would be a leap of faith given how little he's shown of late."
13:00 - With likely favourite Brave Jaq having failed to complete last time, we can justify our selection of Itsnowcato. He made a successful start over hurdles following a lengthy absence, doing it over this C&D, too, so we've faith in him doing even better now he has a run behind him.
13:30 - We're going to take a risk on this leg. Inner Drive and Le Mercurey are potentially useful recruits to chasing, but Violet Dancer is already there and has possibly been underestimated in the betting. He need beat only one of the newcomers to see us through.
14:00 - This is a tough contest to parse, though with eight runners a couple should be good enough to see us through. Val d'Arc is the likely leader, even if it is under duress, and that tends to play well around Plumpton's tight configuration. He's also bang in form, coming clear with a handicap blot last time. Ashcott Boy is a sound backup, in good form and likely to be ridden to take advantage of any pace collapse.
14:35 - Money has come for Moreece, though to select him would be a leap of faith given how little he's shown of late. Better to go with Maria's Choice, who has more to give than she's shown and has Sam Twiston-Davies aboard today, such a jockey booking usually significant with a yard that used to make use of AP McCoy.
15:05 - Our best option here looks to be The Geegeez Geegee, who ran well a couple of times earlier in the season and looked to have returned in reasonable order last time. He has an able amateur on his back, too.
15:35 - Vinciaettis' win over Tokenella reads better now than it did at the time, though there's still the matter of his short price and long absence, neither a problem in the case of Fountains Windfall. He won at Fontwell in June and shaped encouragingly at Cheltenham last month having been sent off second-favourite.
