Matt Gardner turns his attention to the polytrack at Lingfield for Tuesday's Placepot...

13:30 - George Baker rode four winners at Kempton yesterday and there is every chance he can carry on in a similar vein at Lingfield this afternoon, with Pearl Random fancied to go close in the opener; he's still a maiden but is fairly lightly-raced, and will be suited the return to a mile. It's also worth including Anne's Rocket, who has slipped in the weights as a result of his losing run but has hinted at a revival on his two starts since a break and may be able to build on those now.
14:00 - Warbrook has become a bit disappointing and isn't open to improvement like a couple of these. Having said that, he should run his race and go close to making the places, so makes plenty of appeal as a starting point despite not being the most straightforward either. The one "improver" we want on side is Raging Bob, who makes some appeal on pedigree and made a pleasing start to his career at Kempton in December, doing well to finish as close as he did considering his position on the field.
14:30 - A tricky selling handicap awaits us here with the best solution to include the two Seamus Durack horses, namely Derfenna Art and Ogaritmo. Both seem likely to go close here, so between them we should progress.
15:00 - Secret Millionaire caught the eye on his most recent start but he could take up a fair chunk of the pool here so can be opposed with Only Ten Per Cent, who has been in fine form since being dropped to the minimum trip and should be involved at the business end once more.
15:30 - While You Wait has finished runner-up on four occasions since joining this yard, most recently when pushing La Estrella hard over C&D last month. He's capable from this mark now back in a handicap and should go well if taking to the first-time headgear.
16:00 - Nassau Storm is 3 lb higher than when winning over C&D last time, but he was placed off marks in the 90s only last year and should go very well here if in the same form.
