Leicester is the venue for our Placepot attempt on Bank Holiday Monday...

Rio Ronaldo looked like a horse to follow when winning comfortably at Windsor last month and he still looks a step ahead of the handicapper...

14:05- Scarlet Sash made an encouraging return to action when finishing second at Chepstow recently and, likely to improve following that outing, she should go close here. We'll also include Sexy Secret as he's been performing consistently well on the all-weather this year, usually hitting the frame, and he can be relied upon to give another good account.

14:40- Long-standing maiden Ronya ran her best race over C&D last summer and, having had a pipe-opener at Ripon recently, she has an excellent chance of getting her head in front at the eleventh attempt. She's no banker, though, so we'll also include Percella as she showed ability in maidens and may be able to recapture that sort of form having been dropped to this lowly level.

15:15- Available won this race in 2013 off the same mark, and after running creditably at Wolverhampton the last twice she can take the prize home for the second time. We'll bank on John Mackie's mare putting up another bold showing.

15:50- Rio Ronaldo looked like a horse to follow when winning comfortably at Windsor last month and he still looks a step ahead of the handicapper. Mike Murphy's exciting three-year-old hasn't reached the limit of his potential and can take this en route to better things.

16:25- Pacches made an encouraging debut when finishing runner-up at Windsor on debut, but she's likely to be carrying a large amount of units and faces a couple of interesting rivals in Cobana Sand and Belvoir Bay. Cobana Sand made a promising start when showing plenty of pace over six furlongs, so this drop in trip ought to suit, whilst Belvoir Bay hails from a powerful stable whose juveniles are always worth noting.

16:55- The beautifully-bred Yarrow, a half-sister to Golan, showed improved form when stepped up in trip on her seasonal debut at Salisbury, and she should be extremely difficult to beat today, already setting a fair standard and likely to improve further.

Recommendations:
14:05- 3, 8
14:40- 6, 9
15:15- 4
15:50- 9
16:25- 4, 5
16:55- 8
= 8 lines
