The all-weather keeps the show on the road on Tuesday, and we head to Kempton for a crack at the Placepot...
The Dapper Tapper has been in good form of late, finishing runner-up on his three most recent outings, and his consistent profile makes him ideal for Placepot purposes...
14:10- Habeshia has done well since joining Michael Bell from John Best, winning on two occasions, and he ran creditably in defeat last time, finishing a close-up second over C&D. He looks likely to give another good account and, with three places on offer, we'll bank on Habeshia going close.
14:45- John Best's yard went through a prolonged spell in the wilderness but the recent signs have been better, and Gung Ho Jack snapped the losing sequence at Chelmsford on Sunday. Vale of Iron sets the standard in this race based on his recent second at Chelmsford, and with the yard having seemingly turned the corner, he ought to go very close.
15:15- Novel Dancer bounced back to winning ways with a C&D win last month and he should remain competitive off a 4 lb higher mark, even though he did poach first run to an extent on that occasion. He is joined in the permutation by Highsalvia Cosmos who has run creditably on his two most recent outings, including when finishing placed over C&D last time, and he's likely to be thereabouts again.
15:50- Courier isn't really progressing at present, but she may not need to improve to finish in the places here, her form the strongest on offer. The upward curve may have flattened out, but she's proving consistent and can be relied upon to give her running. We'll also put Happy Pursuit in the permutation as she offered something to work with when finishing fifth on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton and there may be more to come.
16:25- The Dapper Tapper has been in good form of late, finishing runner-up on his three most recent outings, and his consistent profile makes him ideal for Placepot purposes. The Dapper Tapper arguably deserves marking up for his effort last time, when he was left with plenty of ground to make up in a slowly-run race, and another bold bid looks to be on the cards.
16:55- Classic Pursuit finished a good third at Wolverhampton last time having slipped in the weights, and he looks on a decent mark if capable of building on the promise of that run. It's also worth including Rigolleto who finished second over C&D last time, only going down narrowly, and he is clearly on a fair mark at present.
