Following yesterday's success at Musselburgh, Timeform head to Kempton for a crack at the Placepot...
Cayuga looked better than ever when scoring over C&D in October and he returned from a break to score in good style at Lingfield over 10 furlongs last time....
13:30- Jubilee Brig can usually be relied upon to give his running and he ran well when dropped to this level at Lingfield on Friday. That effort came over seven furlongs but Gary Moore's charge has plenty of good performances to his name over this six-furlong trip and ought to go close. He is a consistent performer and we will bank on him to see us through the opener.
14:00- Welsh Sunrise won on her first start for Stuart Williams here earlier in the month and she holds strong claims of backing up that success. Welsh Sunrise was well backed and she justified that support with more in hand than the bare winning margin would imply, always travelling well and looking likely to get there. She can continue steadily progressing and rates as banker material.
14:30- Galiotto has been on a long losing run but he shaped quite well at Lingfield on Friday, finishing a respectable third. He may once again find a couple too good but he should give his running and finish in the frame. It is also worth adding Dr Finley who has the benefit of Adam Kirby in the saddle and hasn't been disgraced of late.
15:00- The Young Master has been thriving over hurdles of late and should be backed to add to a Flat win that he achieved at Southwell in December. He still looks well treated based on his recent hurdles form and is clearly in great heart at present. Neil Mulholland's improved performer should finish in the first three but we will also include Ice Apple for a bit of insurance as she ran respectably over a trip that may be short of her best last time. She is vulnerable to less-exposed sorts but is likely to be on the premises.
15:30 - Speechday showed improved form to finish runner-up behind a subsequent winner at Lingfield last time and should continue to progress for the top yard of Marco Botti. It is difficult to overlook the claims of Speechday and we will bank on her to see us through the penultimate leg.
16:00- A tricky end to proceedings and we will side with Cayuga and Dixie's Dream. Cayuga looked better than ever when scoring over C&D in October and he returned from a break to score in good style at Lingfield over 10 furlongs last time. He may well have more to offer on this surface and should be kept on side. Dixie's Dream gained a deserved success over C&D in November and hasn't been disgraced since, especially last time as he wasn't ideally placed.
14:30- 2, 3
15:00- 3, 5
16:00- 3, 4
