Timeform take you through the card at Wolverhampton on Wednesday...

"...makes plenty of appeal here for a yard with a good record at this track..."

Timeform on Finespun

17:25 - EDGE (10) shaped well on his all-weather return at Chelmsford, faring best of those held up. That effort suggested he can take advantage of a mark 6lb lower than the one he defied when winning at Chelmsford a year ago. The step up in trip should suit Edge and he is taken to get back to winning ways at the expense of course winner Pact Of Steel.

17:55 - FINESPUN (4) makes plenty of appeal here for a yard with a good record at this track. John Gosden's unraced filly is a daughter of Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Gossamer and has a good chance to get off the mark at the first time of asking.

18:25 - TROUBLE SHOOTER (6) completed the four-timer in good style at Newcastle two weeks ago and is taken to progress further. Shaun Keightley's gelding has climbed up the weights but has taken each rise in his stride and there is no reason to suggest he can't do the same again here. He tops the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings and will take all the beating.

18:55 - ELDELBAR (4) wasn't disgraced in a similar event last time out and makes plenty of appeal from a good draw in this weak affair. He's largely performed consistently of late and is effective at this trip, so gets the nod in a race that will not take much winning.

19:25 - JOEGOGO (4) returned to form when third at Sandown a month ago and is likely to capitalise on this drop in grade. He has won off a higher mark than this in the past and looks poised to take advantage of an ideal draw. The C&D winner can provide trainer David Evans with another success.

19:55 - OUR CHARLIE BROWN (12) travelled smoothly on what was only his third all-weather start last time and rates the most appealing bet in this tightly-knit handicap. He shaped as though the test suited him when finishing third over C&D last week and is expected to go well again.

20:25 - THE MET (6) showed promise when fourth on debut at Redcar in September of last year but hasn't been seen since. He makes his return for James Tate with the stable in flying form and is worth siding with, keeping in mind the positive impression he created on debut.
