12:30 - MIGHTY SPIRIT (10) has had ample opportunities to break her maiden but has struggled to get over the line in-front with five runner-up finishes in her juvenile season, but connections may have found the perfect opportunity for her here. Her second place finish in a York listed race, along with her third in the Super Sprint at Newbury, set the clear form standard.
13:00 - BURMESE BLAZER (6) ran one of his better races last time when third at Musselburgh, going down only narrowly, and has a good chance on form here. The Grey Zebedee is a C&D winner and represents the main danger following a good second at Newcastle last time out.
13:30 - BO SAMRAAN (5) produced a career-best effort when winning at Pontefract 10 days ago, and has strong claims turned out under a 6 lb penalty back up in trip. He was a narrow winner last time out but travelled strongly through the race and should have no problem with conditions. The main danger looks to come from Where's Jeff who is also looking to make it back-to-back victories following his win at Thirsk over this distance.
14:05 - MAGICAL EFFECT (7) was back to form last time when a creditable second at this course and can build on that performance now back up in trip. He was held up before running on late to take second so the extra furlong today should play to his strengths, while conditions are not expected to be a problem. Sparklealot ran below form last time but can make his presence felt if recapturing his previous form.
14:35 - CORNERSTONE LAD (5) was narrowly beaten on an encouraging return to the Flat at Carlisle, and remains on a fair mark in this sphere based on his hurdles form. He was closing to the line last time despite refusing to settle, suggesting there is more to come from him at this level. The conditions should suit him today and another bold bid is expected.
15:10 - AIRGLOW (9) was narrowly denied victory at Southwell eight days ago, pulling clear of the rest of the field, and must be taken seriously here off 2 lb lower. He returns to turf, and to a course he has a good record at, so looks the pick in a competitive-looking heat after dropping 5 lb below his last winning mark.
15:45 - MY VALENTINO's (3) recent victories have come at 7f and 8.3f but there is every chance that he will cope with this significant drop back in trip, especially considering today's testing conditions. He improved again on his latest run, making it three wins from four starts, and continues to go the right way for Dainne Sayer. He looks the one to beat here.
16:15 - CUPPACOCO (1) produced her best effort of the season last time out when rallying to finish runner-up at Newcastle in first-time blinkers. The new headgear looks to have worked the oracle for Ann Duffield's filly, and providing it continues to have the desired effect, she looks likely to go one better here off the same mark.
