Timeform on Nam
Provocateuse - 13:05 Tipperary
A Pride Of Dubai filly whose dam, as well as being a juvenile winner herself, was also a half-sister to the top-class Bago, Provocateuse made plenty of appeal on paper ahead of her debut at Bellewstown last time, and she duly showed plenty to work on. The only newcomer in the race, Provocateuse challenged approaching the final furlong but just had no extra in the final 100 yards, finishing second to one who had a plum draw, and ahead of odds-on favourite Grammata. Jessica Harrington's charge remains open to improvement and is taken to confirm the form with Grammata and open her account at the second time of asking.
Koola Buala - 14:35 Tipperary
Koola Buala has shaped with plenty of promise in the first few outings of her career, and she did well to finish second in a big-field maiden at Navan last time, coming home ahead of a subsequent winner. She remains lightly raced, and with trainer James Stack's horses in good nick at present, this looks a good opportunity for her to go one better.
Nam - 16:05 Tipperary
Nam looks to have returned to form since the resumption, shaping well on all three of his outings since June. He was not seen to best advantage back down in trip at Galway last time, and he might have finished closer than he did had he not been denied a run approaching two furlongs out. He seems to be building up to something and is back on a potentially lenient mark, so he is a confident selection to regain the winning thread.
