Alan Dudman returns with his Daily Racing Multiple and heads to Ascot in search of a winner on Saturday...
"He usually finishes off his races well and I can envisage the Ascot finish suiting him, especially if some of the "soft" remains in the going description."
Bay could run well in Victoria Cup
15:40 Ascot - Back Jumaira Bay
Having a go at the Victoria Cup and all its 29 runners isn't the easiest, but with the EXTRA PLACE, it's worth playing the each-way double again.
I initially looked at Karibana who was progressive last season, but the chances of Jumaira Bay stand out a little more.
Ray Dawson went close on Spanish City around Ascot last season, and his claim is worth a lot in these big handicaps.
This horse travels well and the big field will suit as he stays 1m. Soft ground is a plus too.
Louganini can bounce back after poor Ponty run
16:15 Ascot - Back Louganini
I tipped Louganini last time out at Pontefract and he ran abysmally despite plenty of strength behind him in the betting. Perhaps the ground was a bit too lively, and with it being the first run of the season, he can show he is a better horse than that run.
He usually finishes off his races well and I can envisage the Ascot finish suiting him, especially if some of the "soft" remains in the going description.
His second in last season's Old Rowley Cup from 89 would give him a leading chance here, and he can right a wrong after his flop at Ponty.
