Timeform take you through the card at Chester on Saturday...
14:30 - AYUTTHAYA (3) finished clear of the rest when chasing home the potentially smart Elarqam (followed up in a Newmarket Group 3 on Thursday) at York and Kevin Ryan's charge looks the one to be on. Clear next best is Gabrial The Saint, who made a promising start to his career when runner-up here two weeks ago and, like the selection, is open to improvement. Zabaletaswansong makes each-way appeal.
15:05 - Richard Fahey could hold the key to this contest with his representatives DARK DEVIL (4) and Gabrial The Tiger both making plenty of appeal. The vote goes to the former, who was a game a winner of an amateur riders' event here last time and has gone up just 3 lb for that. Worlds His Oyster should be on the premises, with Be Kool and Captain Dion also fancied to be in the mix.
15:40 - BAHAMA MOON (5) returned to form in no uncertain terms when scoring here a couple of weeks ago and, still on a decent mark despite going up 6 lb for that, he is taken to repeat the dose with conditions again in his favour. Alexander M is evidently very much at home on this course and won't go down without a fight, while Mutamaded has to be taken seriously following his victory at Ripon.
16:15 - GINBAR (4) showed improved form to open his account in decisive fashion at Haydock last time, and looks potentially well treated for his handicap debut this afternoon. Indeed, he appeared to relish the step up this trip when making all there, putting his experience to good use, and is fancied to follow up with a defeat of Collingham Park, who appeared well suited by give in the ground when winning at Ripon in June. It Dont Come Easy is feared most of the remainder.
16:50 - TAMIH (3) has acquitted himself well in a handful of all-weather maidens and, providing conditions don't pose a problem on this turf debut, he should have little trouble opening his account. While this drop in trip is of dubious benefit, Ebqaa is the clear pick for forecast purposes ahead of exposed maiden Jacksonfire.
17:25 - There should be better to come from PERSISTENCE (4) now pitched into a handicap off a potentially lenient opening mark. Indeed, Ralph Beckett's charge has shown plenty of ability in maidens and she's proven on an easy surface. Caravela is similarly unexposed and may emerge as the main danger, though Mouille Point and the Richard Fahey-trained duo Monaco Rose and Liquid Gold also merit respect.
17:55 - KAJAKI (1) and Brandon Castle both arrive here in top form and may well fight out the finish. The latter hosed up at Catterick last weekend and isn't passed over at all lightly despite a hefty hike in the weights. However, there's greater substance to Kajaki's form, conditions are in his favour and his form figures here read 221. Always Resolute is best of the rest.
