Nick Shiambouros hopes to end his current stint in the tipping chair with a couple of winners from Chepstow and Ludlow...
"There is plenty of pace in this race which should benefit him"
Back Cervaro Mix in the 15:35 at Ludlow
King to reign
15:25 Chepstow - Kingsplace
Kingsplace should prove difficult to beat.
Last time out over this course he finished an excellent second to Dickie Diver. He was headed on the run to the last, but kept on resolutely and finished well clear of the remainder. The winner ran well at Cheltenham, finishing fourth in the Albert Bartlett. He is the form choice and is reasonably priced at 2.466/4 on the exchange.
Deise Aba was a little disappointing when finishing fourth to Dashel Drasher at Ascot last month. The writing was on the wall some way from home, and finished well beaten. He is best judged on his easy victory over this course in November. The penalty for that success makes life tougher, but is a solid second choice at 3.45 on the exchange.
Cervaro to be in the Mix
15:35 Ludlow - Cervaro Mix
Cervaro Mix should give a good account of himself in this novices' hurdle.
This gelding finished second to the improving Oakley over this course in December. He held every chance two out, but could only stay on at the one pace when the pace lifted. The front two finished well ahead of the third place finisher. The winner has since won again in handicap company. There is plenty of pace in this race which should benefit him. At present he is trading at 5.59/2 on the exchange.
Sofia's Rock heads the market at 2.982/1 on the exchange. He finished third to Airton at Taunton last month which reads well in the context of this race.
