Timeform take you through the card at Chelmsford on Wednesday...
"...and is now only 1 lb above his last winning mark..."
13:55 - This should be a straightforward task for DRAGON MALL (1), despite the fact he is winless since 2015, and hasn't always convinced with his application in recent times, but this is by far his easiest assignment for some time and he really should take all the beating. EYES ON ASHA (2) was beaten in a handicap from a mark of 78 last time, but this is just her third career start, and she remains with potential, so it is recommended to keep her on side also, given the question marks over the short-priced favourite.
14:25 - MOSSY'S LODGE (2) was clearly perked up by the application of first-time blinkers at Wolverhampton last time, and the decision to return her to seven furlongs looks the right one here. She has been competitive off higher marks in the past and is fancied to belatedly resume winning ways. Joint top weight Tasaaboq will find this slightly easier than the races he's been contesting lately and is feared most.
15:00 - This doesn't look the strongest race and it could be worth taking a chance on JUSTICE ROCK (5), who admittedly has been struggling for form of late, but is becoming too well treated to ignore now. Nicola Currie takes another valuable 5 lb off and he goes well over this C&D. Firesnake is hardly reliable but he ran his best race for a while when third over C&D last month and looks the biggest danger.
15:30 - A slight drop in the weights will help VOLTURNUS (6) and he ran well enough at Wolverhampton last time to make him of interest here. The two furlong shorter trip won't be a problem, and he could prove hard to peg back if getting loose on the front end. Go On Gal met trouble at Southwell last week and is respected, while Reason To Believe has place claims stepping up in trip.
16:00 - EXCELLENT GEORGE (2) was well on top in a C&D handicap in December and has since posted another solid effort in a better race than this at Kempton. He looks a good alternative to Duke Cosimo, who will doubtless be popular as he escapes a penalty for last week's Newcastle win.
16:30 - MUTHRAAB ALDAAR (3) was well backed at Wolverhampton last time and hinted at a revival after eight weeks off. He was unlucky not to finish second, forced wide entering the straight but keeping on well once finding his stride, and is now only 1 lb above his last winning mark. Touch The Clouds is respected once more after his latest win here, while Limerick Lord can place at least if running to form.
