Timeform take you through the card at Chelmsford on Thursday...

"He's fresh for an AW campaign this winter, and considering he was a five-time winner on artificial surfaces in 2017, he gets the vote to score."

Timeform on Call Out Loud

18:00 - Just the three head to post, though it could well develop into a match race with Top Breeze and DEEP INTRIGUE (1). The former is the stronger in the market this morning, but preference is for the latter, who has improved a chunk with each of his three starts so far, and showed useful form when winning at Beverley in May. He is a long way clear of his once-raced rival on form, and could prove too tough a nut to crack. War And Glory met trouble on his debut here last month, but needs more to get involved.

18:30 - CUTTIN' EDGE (9) won in good style at Lingfield 16 days ago, seeing things out well back up in trip and giving the impression that he would continue to give a good account. He's unexposed over a mile, and now just 4 lb higher, he can go in again. Glory of Paris caught the eye on his latest outing and rates a big danger though, whilst Executive Force is capable from this mark if getting the breaks.

19:00 - GREATEST JOURNEY (1) won in good style over a furlong and a half further at Wolverhampton last week, getting going sooner than the runner-up but having something in hand at the line in any case, with something left in the tank at the line. He carries a 6 lb penalty for that, but could be worth chancing to follow up. Kempton-scorer Breden rates the chief threat, though a market move for Brittanic would need viewing positively.

19:30 - CALL OUT LOUD (6) is a bit unlucky not to have won a race on Turf this year, and we ran well after four months off at Doncaster last time from 4 lb out of the handicap, being headed two furlongs out. He's fresh for an AW campaign this winter, and considering he was a five-time winner on artificial surfaces in 2017, he gets the vote to score. Salateen has been running well of late and is feared most.

20:00 - THE EAGLE'S NEST (2) shaped well in a first-time hood and tongue strap on his most recent start at Wolverhampton last month; never nearer and doing well to get within a length of two more prominently-ridden rivals, with that trio pulling clear of the rest of the field. He looks to be building up to something, and returned to a track at which he is scored at in the past, he is fancied to win off the same mark as last time out - with Martin Harley booked to ride.

20:30 - SAAHEQ (5) didn't look like a natural on the fibresand when fifth at Southwell three weeks ago, but there are certainly races to be won with him off his current mark on more conventional surfaces. As such, he gets the vote to get back on track here. The market may help separate the Archie Watson pair Choice Encounter and Dotted Swiss, while Bowson Fred lurks on a dangerous mark.

21:00 - FLY TRUE (2) produced her best effort of the season to win off a basement mark at Southwell 9 days ago, forging clear a furlong out, and she still looks well-treated under a 4 lb penalty. Captain Ryan caught the eye at Kempton and is another to consider along with the other penalised-winner Divine Call.
