Timeform on Rock On Baileys

13:45 - REVICH (4) sets a clear standard on form here and should be able to open his account. He ran into a nice type at Brighton last time, beaten only a length in second, and another bold bid is expected in what doesn't look the strongest race of its type. The main danger will likely prove Prince of Rome, who made an encouraging debut at Windsor last month and, for all that form hasn't really worked out, he hails from an in-form yard whose two-year-olds invariably improve for the run.

14:20 - SANAM (7) improved for a gelding operation and step up in trip when winning a mile and a half handicap at Newcastle last time and looks the one to be with again. He is a lot less exposed than most he will meet at this level, remains open to further improvement, and shapes as though this even longer trip will be within reach. Its'afreebee came very close to making a winning handicap debut at Yarmouth last week and is the obvious threat.

14:55 - Victory Wave is the popular one in the market this morning and it is no surprise given his unexposed profile, but it could pay to side with SIR RODERIC (9) continues to leave the impression there's a handicap in him off his reduced mark and this could be it. Admittedly, he isn't the force of old, but he ran well when third at Kempton last time, and the winner has since boosted the form, so he isn't without hope in an open heat.

15:30 - NATHAN (5) proved progressive last season, winning a couple of mile and a quarter handicaps, and lost little in defeat when last seen at Chester in September, unsuited by the way the race developed in a four-runner field. That race could hardly have worked out better, though, with both the first and second winning their next starts, and the feeling is Nathan could have even more to offer as a four-year-old. Top Mission and Alfarris were also progressive last season and also warrant respect on return.

16:05 - SHAILENE's (2) Cheshire Oaks fourth is clearly good form and she ran well again over C&D last time. She could be hard to beat in what doesn't look a strong race. Hollydaze could have more to offer this year, though, while Minovia is an interesting newcomer for Hugo Palmer and the market will likely reveal more.

16:45 - This looks competitive but the one who could be open to the most progress still is the Sir Mark Prescott-trained RUDE AWAKENING (2). He made a winning handicap debut over a mile at Newcastle in March and, though he failed to follow up over two furlongs further at the same course next time, he still left the impression he has more to offer, especially now having his stamina stretched further. The addition of cheekpieces can also help his cause and he is preferred to last-time-out winner Elysees who should be competitive turned out under a penalty.

17:20 - ROCK ON BAILEYS (1) has been plying her trade in listed company on the turf this summer but looks interesting back in a handicap returned to her favoured all-weather surface. She completed a five-timer at Wolverhampton in March and, though now 12 lb higher than that mark, she could be worth chancing.
