"He is interesting off his lower AW mark with Silvestre De Sousa on board, and gets the vote to go in again."

Timeform on Classic Pursuit

17:45 - Those with experience don't set the bar too high so it may be worth taking a chance on the Mark Johnston newcomer CHANCE OF GLORY (6), who catches the eye on paper (half-brother to 7 furlong winner Warega). Balladeer should build on his Newmarket debut last month and may prove next best ahead of Rockshore, who ran well over 6f here last time.

18:15 - FOGNINI (1) is another Archie Watson juvenile heading the right way and he once again looks to have been found a good opportunity for a third win from just 5 starts. Invincible One was fifth in a race at Salisbury which has thrown up a couple of winners and may prove next best ahead of Si Michael Stoute's Khafooq.

18:45 - CLASSIC PURSUIT (6) has been in the form of his life on turf of late, running with plenty of credit despite having his winning run ended at Doncaster last time. He is interesting off his lower AW mark with Silvestre De Sousa on board, and gets the vote to go in again. There's surely more to come from Missy Mischief, although she will require a useful effort to see off some of these battle-hardened sprinters from her opening mark, while fellow 3-y-o Captain Jameson could also go well if turning up here instead of York.

19:15 - GEORGIAN MANOR (10) didn't get the race run to suit at Pontefract last time and is worth another chance to show he's still a handicapper on the up with Ryan Moore taking over in the saddle for the first time. Mashan Star bagged a good prize here last autumn and is respected from a handy draw, while Tricorn has a fine record on AW and could step up on his previous runs this year.

19:45 - JUMEIRAH STREET (2) had the run of things when scoring at Kempton last time but she still did it in the manner of a filly heading very much in the right direction and can make light of an opening mark of 70. Plentyinthetanksir has a few good efforts to his name here and may provide the main threat ahead of Lethal Angel.

20:15 - GUILD (2) was a shade disappointing at Ffos Las last time but the softer surface provides a possible excuse and he's taken to get his career back on the up now. Night Story has had a break since finishing a well-held third at Haydock in June and he's another who remains with the potential for better.

20:45 - LYFORD (9) was nicely clear of the rest when runner-up at Kempton last week and is selected to go one better off the same mark. Hint of Grey has made a solid start for Gary Moore and could be the one to give him most to do, although it wouldn't be a shock to see Connoisseur leave her recent reappearance behind with headgear added.
