17:45 - ATYAAF (2) was handed a lowly opening mark for one with his pedigree (closely related to Queen Mary winner Maqaasid), and he caught the eye when fifth on handicap debut over C&D 18 days ago, looking unlucky not to have finished closer having been denied a run inside the final 50 yards. He promised more still for another time, and off the same mark as last time out, this looks a good opportunity to go close considering he's still unexposed. The veteran Swiss Cross and Brother In Arms are feared most.
18:15 - CAPPANANTY CON (2) ran well on his first start for Charlie Wallis over C&D last month, bouncing back after a poor 2018 to finish second, making headway a furlong out and staying on towards the line. Dropped a further 1 lb, he's fancied to build on that and is fancied to go one place better this time around. Miracle Works, on debut for Robert Cowell, rates next best ahead of It Must Be Faith.
18:45 - OUTRAGE (1) has run with credit in two starts since scoring at Newcastle in January, moving into the race in eye-catching fashion before being one paced in the closing stages. The drop back to the minimum trip should therefore suit, and he gets the vote to return to winnings ways. Saaheq is low mileage for a five-year-old and is respected, while Verne Castle is another danger to the selection.
19:15 - Considering that those with form under their belts don't set a particularly daunting standard, it's difficult to look past the John Gosden newcomer, SEVERNAYA (9). Gosden is in fine form at the moment, and considering Severnaya's pedigree (dam a French Group 3 winner, half-sister to useful 2-y-o Floristry), she's taken to make a winning start. Copper Rose is entitled to progress further after two solid starts so far, while Lope Scholar is another interesting debutante.
19:45 - LION HEARTED (3) is on a roll at the moment, completing a four-timer having escaped a penalty at Newcastle on Monday, and though he's 6 lb higher this time around, he's clear of the field on form and can't be opposed in his bid for a five-timer. Agent of Fortune is another in good heart at the moment, producing a solid effort to finish second at Kempton last time when chasing a hat-trick and is the biggest danger, while Rivas Rob Roy is another to consider.
20:15 - This could develop into a match between the two who arrive here in pursuit of a hat-trick; Croeso Cymraeg and CLEARANCE (4). Preference is for the latter, who is on the same mark as his win here 9 days ago, and as such is on much better terms than his main market rival. Harry Callahan also won last-time out and is best of the others.
