Timeform take you through the card at Chelmsford on Friday evening.

"...left her previous form well behind when making a winning handicap debut at Newcastle 2 weeks ago and should make another bold bid up 3 lb..."

17:45 - A tricky start. Hard to enthuse over many of these, but OUTLAW TORN (5) has come back down in the weights and is capable in this grade. Ertidaad has to be feared as a last-time-out winner, however he has an extra 2f to negotiate here, while Master of Heaven can make his presence felt if he's on a going day.

18:15 - TRICK SHOT JENNY (5) left her previous form well behind when making a winning handicap debut at Newcastle 2 weeks ago and should make another bold bid up 3 lb. Progressive Jazz has gone close on both his starts on the AW and is respected, however a better value second string to the bow could be URBAN SOUL (1). He seemed to improve for the step up in trip last time and could go close if progressing again.

18:45 - Those with experience don't set the pulse racing, so CROWN WALK (4) could easily be up to the job on debut for the Godolphin team sporting a hood. Cirrus Minor's opening run was promising and she is a big threat if casting aside a poor effort at Wolverhampton, while Dance Me has her limitations but can make her presence felt at this level.

19:15 - ANGELINA D'OR (5) left her debut well behind when runner-up at Newcastle 9 days ago, beaten only by a useful prospect, and she looks the one to beat. Escape The City went close on her nursery debut at Wolverhampton 25 days ago and is the obvious threat.

17:45 - BORN TO FINISH (8) was probably a bit unlucky not to follow up his Kempton win over this C&D last week and has obvious claims of gaining compensation off the same mark. Bahamian Heights arrives in good form having won 2 of his last 3 starts and is feared most, ahead of Human Nature.

17:45 - RETRIEVE (2) is rising 11 and ended his time for Carroll Gray out of sorts on turf, but the assessor has given him a major chance for a new yard on this surface, so he could be worth risking on his first start for Jonhhny Farrelly. ANGEL IN THE SNOW (11) and Stylish Dancer are the obvious alternatives, with preference for the former as a more solid second placepot selection having run well in defeat last time.

17:45 - The front-running PRINCE JAI is ideally drawn against the rail and might be up to notching another course win. Shamlan was a fine second on his first start back with former handler Kevin Frost and will be a threat if the widest stall doesn't prove too much of an inconvenience, while Samphire Coast can extend his run of good efforts.

Placepot permutation:

17:45 - 5
18:15 - 1, 5
18:45 - 4
19:15 - 5
19:45 - 8
20:15 - 2, 11
