Timeform take you through the card at Carlisle on Thursday...

"With a return to softer conditions likely to suit, and only 3 lb higher than his last win, he could prove to be the answer in a competitive handicap."

Timeform on Stubytuesday

13:40 - The four-year-old filly DECIMA (3) is yet to fire this season, but she struck from this mark at Beverley last year so could be worth chancing in a very winnable handicap. She's been sent off big prices in three starts this year but will be very interesting if there is any market support. Traditional Dancer and Iberica Road can make their presence felt at this level.

14:10 - STUBYTUESDAY (2) was below form when last seen at Yarmouth in May, but he's been freshened up since. With a return to softer conditions likely to suit, and only 3 lb higher than his last win, he could prove to be the answer in a competitive handicap. Bollin Ted, Billy Bond and Dark Confidant all merit consideration in an open race.

14:40 - Timeform 'Horse In Focus' SUPRESSSOR (10) progressed from debut - and shaped well to boot - when a close second at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, and with the prospect of more to come, he can make it third-time lucky now switched to turf. Rapture looks sure to be suited by this step up in trip and she rates the main danger ahead of the penalised Kolossus.

15:10 - Those at the head of the weights could dominate, with preference for CHOOKIE DUNEDIN (2) following his placed effort in a slightly stronger race than this at Hamilton last week. He's the one to beat on Timeform ratings here, looking well-treated on his juvenile form after bouncing back to form last time. A stiff track kept to six furlongs will help Queens Gift and she is second choice ahead of recent C&D winner Final Go who has a 6 lb penalty to shoulder.

15:40 - ILLUSIONS (5), who comes from a successful family, several of whom won at two, took a jump forward on her third outing when fourth in minor company at Haydock three weeks ago. With that race working out well, the assessor may have taken a chance with her opening mark. Last-time-out winners Dream Poet and Stronsay have to be feared, but a better value second selection could be CAWTHORNE LAD (7) who showed a bit more when fourth at Haydock last time and may improve now stepping into handicaps.

16:10 - INTENSE STYLE (5) put in a good shift when fourth in a big-field handicap at Thirsk 10 days ago, and having landed the inside stall, he could be the answer. He has plenty of form at testing venues, including a win at Beverley last September, and is well-handicapped on that form. This is a competitive heat though, with Inexes, Beverley Bullet and Dalawyna all having something to recommend them, however the vote goes to REINFORCED (11) as a second selection. He is a straightforward front-runner who looks sure to run his race from a good draw.

16:45 - MEARING saw off another improving 3-y-o over 1m at this venue last week and on that evidence his follow-up claims under a penalty appear to be bright. Flamenco is a well-bred handicap debutante representing William Haggas so has to command respect, along with Gamesters Icon.
