Nick Shiambouros hopes to end his current stint in the tipping chair with a couple of winners from Brighton and Wolverhampton...
"He is by Pivotal, and is certainly bred to handle the testing conditions"
Sunset should love the ground
13:55 Brighton - Sunset Breeze
Sunset Breeze should make his presence felt in this novice stakes.
Last time out at Wolverhampton he put in a fine effort when finishing second to San Rafael. He kept tabs with the winner most of the way, and was only just denied close home. He is by Pivotal, and is certainly bred to handle the testing conditions. With expected improvement, he should get off the mark. At present he is trading at 4.1 on the exchange.
Silver Samurai is the main danger. He ran well in defeat when finishing second to Love Destiny at Chelmsford, but his ability to act in the conditions is unknown. At present he is trading at 2.982/1 on the exchange.
Dawaam a tough customer
17:45 Wolverhampton - Dawaam
Dawaam should prove difficult to beat in this novice stakes.
This colt by Kitten's Joy was most impressive on debut when beating Khuzaam at Lingfield last November. He took the lead a furlong from home, and quickly put the race to bed. The form of this race has worked out really well, with several horses winning. I think he is open to a great deal of improvement, and should be able to defy a penalty. At present he is trading at 3.052/1 on the exchange.
Informed Front was turned over at a short price when finishing second to The Gill Brothers at Kempton last month. He was readily outpaced in the closing stages, and seemingly had no excuse. At present he is trading at 2.89/5 on the exchange.
