"...he has been given a big chance in the weights now back in a handicap."

Timeform on Mamillus

17:50 - MEDICI ORO (5) ran with credit on reappearance at Bath a fortnight ago, finishing third, and it was a run which suggested that he could well have a race in him now that he's slipped to a career-low mark. He should strip fitter for his first run back and gets the vote. Felstead Knight is interesting in a first-time visor, having been well backed on his handicap debut at Chepstow last time, and is feared, whilst River Rule was second to a thriving winner here 3 weeks ago and also needs considering.

18:20 - MAMILLUS (3) got back on track when finishing a close second behind the thriving Captain Lars in a Lingfield claimer last time. He's not going to face a rival in anything close to that sort of form in this, and he has been given a big chance in the weights now back in a handicap. He shades the verdict, ahead of Black Caesar and Good Luck Charm, who are closely matched again and seem sure to be winning more races at Brighton this summer.

18:50 - The form of the race in which KILLDEER (3) made his debut in at Yarmouth a month ago is deep, with the winning going from strength to strength, and though he ultimately achieved little in form terms that day, he showed clear ability and should progress significantly for that run. Orsera sets the standard and is likely to make a bold bid.

19:20 - STORMINGIN (2) has been in fine form since joining the Gary Moore yard two starts ago, producing two solid effort to finish second at both Brighton and Sandown so far. He looks to have been found a good opportunity to resume winning ways. Sussex Girl could be the biggest danger if coming on for a disappointing reappearance run.

19:50 - ROY ROCKET (3) is a regular at this course, and he looks ready to strike again having found only one too good in 0-70 company here three weeks ago. Windsorlot was also second last time and can given the selection most to think about.

20:20 - SHARP OPERATOR (8) is running really consistently of late, and produced a career-best on just his second start over this trip when landing a C&D handicap in decisive fashion 3 weeks ago. Having gone up just 3 lb for that, he should again take the measure of Baby Gal. With Approval may well reverse last-time-out C&D placings with Kaaber and prove best of the rest.

20:50 - TITUS SECRET (3) returns with his yard among the winners and is taken to continue his good record at Brighton with a successful reappearance. The veteran Swiss Cross is feared most ahead of Flowing Clarets.
