Timeform take you through the card at Brighton on Tuesday evening.
"...brings recent winning form to the table, which counts for plenty at this level..."
Timeform on Miniature Daffodil
16:15 - While his strike rate is hardly inspiring, TIGERWOLF (3) did the job in good style at Kempton last week and will prove a tough nut to crack if able to perform to a similar level back on turf. Ocean Temptress has winning form here and may offer most resistance if fit enough to do herself justice following a break, while Everkyllachy and Swiss Cross can do battle for minor honours.
16:50 - Bred to make a two-year-old, HARD TASKMASTER (2) is every inch a likely type on paper and the hint should be taken if there's confidence behind him in the betting. The market will also be instructive where fellow likely-looking newcomers Al Manhalah, Its The Only Way and Dark Panther are concerned (feared in that order), while Knockabout Queen can be expected to leave her recent debut form well behind.
17:25 - Eve Johnson Houghton has won two of the last three renewals of this race, and could be up to winning it again with HEDGING (6). The four-year-old managed to win twice last season, both times at around this trip, and he is now just 3 lb higher than his last winning mark. The yard have been going along nicely so far this season, and he has enough going for him to make him of interest in an open contest.
17:55 - LIMERICK LORD (5) is on a roll at present, running his best race for over two years when winning a mile handicap at Southwell earlier this month, kept up to his work to score by three and three quarter lengths. He has got some solid course form here, too, never winning but finishing placed several times, notably when beaten half a length over C&D in August. The booking of Adam Kirby is perhaps a sign of intent, and his is fancied to complete a hat-trick despite a revised mark.
18:30 - ARCTIC SEA (3) remains relatively low-mileage, especially on turf, and he makes the most appeal here. He ran well at Lingfield 10 days ago, having every chance entering the straight and keeping on well. This doesn't look the deepest race and he is fancied to resume winning ways, perhaps at the main expense of Stormingin, who is consistent and should continue to give a good account.
19:05 - Unlike the majority of these, MINIATURE DAFFODIL (14) brings recent winning form to the table, which counts for plenty at this level. She showed improved form in first-time cheekpieces when winning at Chelmsford last time, and is taken to make a winning return to turf in a weak contest.
19:40 - BUZZ LIGHTYERE (6) can boast a good record at Brighton, particularly over this C&D (three-time winner), and he could be ready to strike after recent spin on the all-weather. His mark remains a workable one - just 2 lb above his last winning mark - and David Probert, who has a good strike rate at Brighton, won on his only ride aboard Buzz Lightyere. He seemingly has plenty in his favour and is fancied to make a bold bid.
