No Mystery here
14:55 Newbury - Mystery Power
Mystery Power should prove difficult to beat in this fascinating contest.
This talented colt won the Superlative at HQ in good style from Juan Elcano. He took the lead two furlongs out, and kept on really well to score in decisive fashion. He disappointed on his latest start behind the brilliant Pinatubo at Goodwood. I am prepared to put a line through that effort as something was clearly amiss. The six furlong trip should not inconvenience him, and can carry the 3lb penalty. At present he is trading at 4.67/2e.
Pierre Lapin is the current favourite at 3.8514/5. He was most impressive on debut when thrashing Visible Charm at Haydock. He was heavily backed and is held in high regard at home. This is much tougher ,but remains an exciting prospect.
Orlaith again
15:15 Ayr - Orlaith
Orlaith can strike again for trainer Iain Jardine.
This filly put in a much improved effort when beating Al Raya in a Listed contest at Newbury last month. She weaved her way through the field, and quickened nicely inside the final furlong and got up close home. She was value for a little more in my opinion, as she met some interference at a crucial stage. This was a super effort from this likeable filly and should move forward again. At present she is trading at 4.84/1 on the exchange.
Final Option was not disgraced when finishing fourth to Dark Lady at Salisbury earlier this month. She put in some good work in the closing stages, and could have more to offer. She looks saver material at 13.525/2
