Nick Shiambouros returns with two selections from Fakenham and Catterick...
"Winning two bumpers is no mean feat and, I believe she is up to winning a race of this nature"
Back Miss Heritage at 6.411/2 in the 12:40 at Fakenham
A fine Miss
12:40 Fakenham - Miss Heritage
Miss Heritage should give a good account of herself in this interesting contest.
This dual bumper winner finished second to Bannixton Glory in a maiden hurdle at Worcester in the summer. She refused to settle, and ultimately paid the price in the closing stages. This is her first run since a wind operation, and hopefully she will be more relaxed during the race. Winning two bumpers is no mean feat and I believe she is up to winning a race of this nature. At present she is trading at 6.411/2.
Molly Ollas Wishes is the current favorite at 3.55. She has been placed in a couple of hurdle races, and would not need to improve a great deal to take this.
Prince to reign supreme
14:25 Catterick - Mercian Prince
This looks like a good opportunity for Mercian Prince to get back to winning ways.
He won a valuable chase at Plumpton last season, but appears to have lost his way in his first two starts this term. At Ascot last month he finished a distant fifth to Flying Angel. He was headed three from home and was quickly beaten. He is suited by the conditions of this hurdle race, and receives plenty of weight from the favourite. At present he is trading at 2.942/1.
Décor Irlandais heads the market. He has some decent form in the book, but has to carry a double penalty which could prove problematic. Looks short enough.
