Nick Shiambouros is back with a couple of National Hunt selections from Chepstow and Warwick...
"I think she has a lot more to offer, and the extra yardage will suit her down to the ground"
Doctor Haze should go close in this interesting novices' hurdle.
This ready winner of a point in the spring makes his debut under Rules. Trainer Kim Bailey clearly likes this family as he trained his half-brother Midnight Haze who was a pretty decent handicap chaser. I am sure he will know his job, and is fairly priced at [6.0] on the exchange. In addition the stable is going well which is a positive.
Dan Skelton sends out Irish point winner Marley Firth. He also won his point in good style, and is another that will be ready. He is the current favourite at [3.7] on the exchange.
Ginge De Sophia looks like the horse to beat in this mares only event.
This four-year-old finished a respectable fourth to the progressive Dame De Compagnie at Uttoxeter earlier this month. She put in some good work in the closing stages but never had a chance of catching the easy winner. I think she has a lot more to offer, and the extra yardage will suit her down to the ground. At present she is trading at [4.6] on the exchange and have backed her at that price.
Molly The Dolly heads the market at [2.26]. This Irish point winner makes her debut for the Skelton yard. She has been placed in a couple of bumpers and will be ready to go for her hurdles debut. I am not sure why she is so short in the market, and will gladly let her win at that price.
