Bets Of The Day: Al Suhail worth another chance

Al Suhail Newmarket
Today's best bet Al Suhail runs at Newmarket

All roads lead to Newmarket today and Nick Shiambouros returns with two selections from the Rowley Mile...

"I do not think we have seen the best of him, and is fairly priced at 6.05/1 on the exchange"

Back Al Suhail in the 14:55 at Newmarket

Mythical the real deal

14:20 Newmarket - Mythical

Mythical looks like the horse to beat in this stamina sapping contest.

This Camelot colt put in a much improved effort when beating McCabe in a maiden at Gowren Park last month. He made most of the running and stayed on strongly in the closing stages to win with complete authority. There is plenty of stamina in the pedigree, and is proven in the conditions. A mile and a quarter is a long way for these youngsters, but this fast improving individual is bred for the job. At present he is trading at 3.814/5.

Volkan Star made all to win a novice stakes at Goodwood in August and has potential. He has plenty of speed, but needs to avoid locking horns with a few of these in the early going. He is trading at 5.04/1 on the exchange.

Al Suhail the one

14:55 Newmarket - Al Suhail

I am going to give Al Suhail another chance in this interesting race.

This Dubawi colt finished third to the talented Positive in the Solario Stakes at Sandown at the end of August. He looked the likely winner a furlong from home, but failed to go through with his effort and had to settle for a place. The winner finished second to the mighty Pinatubo at Goodwood. I do not think we have seen the best of him, and is fairly priced at 6.05/1 on the exchange.

Molatham is improving with racing and has won his last two in game fashion. He is the main danger to the selection and is 3.02/1.
