Timeform take you through the card at Bangor on Friday...

"He didn't cut too much ice in three soft/heavy ground bumpers, but better is expected now he's stepped up in trip tackling hurdles for the first time. "

Timeform on He's A Goer

13:50 - The well-bred FULL BORE (3) is obviously not 100% straightforward, advertised when throwing away victory (hung badly left at gap in rail final furlong) in a Uttoxeter bumper five weeks ago. However, there is no doubting Nicky Henderson's charge has plenty of ability, his Newton Abbot success previously highlighting that fact. He is selected to get back to winning ways now hurdling under Nico de Boinville. Lester Kris and Val Mome are next best.

14:20 - Not an easy race to assess, but recent Market Rasen and Bangor winner RED GIANT (1) is clearly in good heart at present and may be up to completing the hat-trick. Rocknrollrambo hasn't had much racing recently but is interesting now back up in trip following another lay-off. Atlanta Ablaze may yet do better as a chaser and completes the shortlist. Bottom-weight NO HIDING PLACE (6) is an interesting contender returning from a break, with the step back up in trip on decent ground here very much in his favour.

14:55 - Given the level of his Flat ability, CAPTAIN PEACOCK (1) has the potential to build on his improved C&D handicap success on his reappearance four weeks ago and is narrowly preferred to fellow last-time-out scorer Sonic. HE'S A GOER (4) is also worth including in perms. He didn't cut too much ice in three soft/heavy ground bumpers, but better is expected now he's stepped up in trip tackling hurdles for the first time. Trainer Tom Lacey does well with such horses, especially when they are his only runner on a card, and with this son of Yeats expected to improve for the longer trip (dam unraced half-sister to fair hurdler/chaser Triple Chief (2m/19f winner)), a better performance is expected.

15:30 - The Dai Williams-trained OMEGA SPRINGS (2) has a poor strike rate, but the ex-Irish gelding has started out for his new yard with a couple of good placed efforts over fences and could resume winning ways now. King Alfonso struck over hurdles last time and is respected back over fences, while Vif Argent could be building up to something and is undoubtedly on a winnable mark.

16:05 - Top-weight ROCKALZARO (1) has been contesting much better races than this recently, so he could be worth chancing to capitalise on this drop in grade sporting first-time blinkers/tongue tie on ground that suits. Irish-raider Atlas remains with potential and will be well worth noting if the market speaks in his favour. Wisecracker returns from a break and is still unexposed. BARON VON CHILL (4) hasn't been with Dan Skelton for long but has been an improved performer since his wind op, and another solid placed effort is expected.

16:40 - Timeform 'Horse In Focus' KARAMOKO (1) is unexposed and gets the nod to build on an encouraging handicap debut at Perth when last seen in June; this speed-favouring track could suit. Emma Lavelle seems to have her team in good nick and market support for the returning Act of Supremacy could prove significant. Friary Gold bumped into yet another Dan Skelton improver when second at Newton Abbot last time and also merits respect.
