14:00 - COLONIAL DREAMS (1) remains a maiden over hurdles, but his form stacks up - finished second to Black Op in January - and he makes plenty of appeal. For all he wasn't guaranteed to win when falling at the last at Sandown last time, he left the impression that he had plenty left in the tank, and this upwardly-mobile sort is fancied to open his account over hurdles.
14:35 - TURNING GOLD (5) shaped as though he was still in good form when finishing fifth in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham earlier this month and looks the one to focus on. He has been dropped 2 lb in the weights since that run and, in short, he still looks capable of winning races from this mark.
15:10 - This may well develop in to a match between ADRIEN DU PONT (2) and HAPPY DIVA (3), and it may be worth keeping both on side with the placepot in mind. It would be no surprise to see Adien du Pont win easily given his class edge, but in Happy Diva he meets a gutsy, consistent mare who won't go down without a fight.
15:45 - DIEGO DU CHARMIL (1) was no match for Saint Calvados in the Kingmaker Novices' Chase at Warwick last time, but that isn't anything to be ashamed of, and he looks potentially well treated now making his handicap debut in this sphere. He looks the way to go in what should be a competitive affair.
16:20 - It could be worth chancing THEATRE GUIDE (1), who's had just the three outings this season and should find this a lot less competitive than he's used to. Band of Blood found the Kim Muir too much recently but should make more of an impact here, while last year's winner Loose Chips is dangerous if allowed an easy lead.
16:55 - SAMUEL JACKSON (4) has done little wrong this season and again makes a fair bit of appeal. For all he lost his unbeaten record in a Grade 2 at Doncaster last time, he maintained his run-to-run progress, and though the handicapper hasn't taken any chances with him. he could still have more to offer on just his fourth start under Rules. Onefitzall could be the one to take advantage if the selection under performs.
17:30 - Both MIDNIGHT COWBOY (3) and Monsieur Gibraltar tasted success between the flags a fortnight ago and could be the pair to focus on, with preference for the former given his progressive prolife as a chaser. Of the rest, Marinero is back in the right sort of grade and can be expected to figure.
