Timeform pick out their three best bets from Clonmel on Thursday...
"...there should be even more to come from him, and he is well worth chancing to resume winning ways..."
Timeform on Kuiper Belt
Kuiper Belt has been nothing but progressive since joining the Gordon Elliott yard, completing a cross-code four-timer over hurdles at Sedgefield in August, and showed he is still improving when first past the post back in a handicap at Listowel last time. He was subsequently disqualified for that run, deemed to have caused interference, but there should be even more to come from him, and he is well worth chancing to resume winning ways. Cooldine Bog may emerge as the chief threat.
Redwood Boy showed more than first time up over fences when a close second at Sligo last month, travelling well and leading up until the last, where he was untidy and then hung right in the closing stages. He is now 5 lb lower reverted back to timber, and given he won a similar event over this C&D earlier this season, he looks the one to side with now just 1 lb higher. Courtin Bb and Glamorous Nellie are others to consider.
Miss Aloud wasn't seen to best effect at Donwpatrick last week, left poorly placed in a race where it paid to race nearer the speed, so she is best judged on her earlier runner-up effort at Kelso, with a repeat of that likely to see her hard to beat in receipt of weight all round. Northern Belle is Willie Mullins newcomer so has to command respect given he won this race 12 months ago.
