Look out for Al Aqabah at Lingfield...

Today's 80/20 is Al Aqabah in the 1pm at Lingfield Park.

It is not very often that this stable appears on my radar but this daughter of Redback made a favourable impression on me at the first time of asking when after missing the break she made steady headway and finished fifth to Indian Diva over six furlongs.

I was at Kempton Park at the Goff's Breeze up sales in March when she was sold and saw her breeze. She did breeze well that day and the trainer had to go to £50k to secure her. Clearly she has had kind of a setback hence the belated appearance, however her first run has shown me that she is in good heart and with that in mind I think we have a good chance of securing the 80/20 at a fair price.
