Golden Dane hoping to hit paydirt in Brighton...

Today's 80/20 is Golden Dane in the 2.40 Brighton. This gelded son of Danetime has been keeping some very good company and is lightly raced.

After his initial flop behind Rio Taffeta at Windsor in June he showed vastly improved form behind the smart Tajdeef who was a good fourth in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster.

Last time out he was only just beaten over three lengths behind Hobson which is decent form. This race is after all a seller and I believe with some relatively exposed types taking part today we have a sporting chance to land the 80/20 at a big price.
