Around this time last year Caldra was considered Group one class when bolting up in a decent race at Ascot with horses like Hearthstead Maison and Kid Mambo left well behind.Caldra has had injury problems since then but his trainer has exercised patience with this gelded son of Elnadim.With a couple of runs under his belt this race should be well within his range.He has solid form on the ground and providing he gets the trip i think we should have a really good shot at landing the 80/20 at a very fair price indeed.
