The Ladbroke Hurdle is the final leg of today's Scoop6

Timeform take you through the Scoop6 races on Saturday, where the win and bonus fund is expected to hit over £1 million.

"Granted a longer break, he can continue his progression on just his fourth start in handicaps."

Leg 1: Carlo Rocks improved for the step up to this trip when a ready winner at Southwell earlier this month, and it would be no surprise to see him go well again on this much more competitive stage with Richard Johnson taking over in the saddle. Knight Ofthe Realm is worth another chance to build on his dour win at Exeter in November, after clearly finding his outing at Taunton coming too soon when well beaten just 4 days later. Granted a longer break, he can continue his progression on just his fourth start in handicaps.

Leg 2: La Vaticane has not been disgraced on her two starts for David Pipe, and her strong-travelling style means that she should be suited by this drop in trip today. Big Casino is worth forgiving his last two starts, where he shaped better than the beaten distance beaten suggested on both occasions, and he is worth taking to belatedly build on his career best at Haydock at the end of last season.

Leg 3: Grendisar claimed three listed races last winter, and belatedly returned to that sort of level having his fourth run of this campaign over C&D last time. Although he was not certain to have won if he were better placed, this was still his best effort for some time, and he is worth banking on here in a race where there appear to be few progressive types.

Leg 4: Spookydooky looked the smart chasing prospect that his hurdles form had suggested when winning at Newbury last time by a head from Warriors Tale. The pair drew well clear of the rest of the field that day, and an 8-lb rise may not be enough to stop Spookydooky following up, on just his third start in this sphere.

Leg 5: The Giant Bolster is on an obviously lenient mark if able to roll back the years and get anywhere near his old form, which saw him make the frame in three consecutive Cheltenham Gold Cups. He has been dropped 7 lbs for his effort in the Hennessy, where he shaped as if he needed the run, and is worth including here, along with Salubrious, who was a very smart hurdler two seasons ago, and promises to at least match that level in this sphere.

Leg 6: Winner Massagot is impossible to leave out of our final leg, after posting a very impressive effort at Ascot on handicap debut over C&D last time. He has been raised 12 lbs for that run, but he naturally remains open to plenty of improvement, and could give Alan King another big Saturday winner. Although Zarib didn't have many excuses when third in the Elite Hurdle last time at Wincanton, he is still lightly-raced, and it would be no surprise if Dan Skelton were to get some more improvement out of him, given his profile.
