"...she could go on improving for a while yet..."

Timeform on Lang Toun Lady

14:10 - Very hard to see past NATE THE GREAT (1), who hasn't been beaten far in listed events the last twice, and this represents a big drop in class. It will be bitterly disappointing if he's beaten, but Mister Chiang shaped with promise on debut and could prove the biggest danger.

14:40 - LANG TOUN LADY (4) is firmly on the up since blinkers were fitted and, based on the style in which she got off the mark over C&D recently, she could go on improving for a while yet. She's the clear selection ahead of Primeiro Boy and Tick Tock Croc, who appeals as one who may also reap the benefits of first-time headgear.

15:15 - This could play into the hands of CHOOKIE DUNEDIN (4) with the likely strong pace helping him to settle better than last time so, given he's left the impression that he's well treated a couple of times of late, he might be worth chancing in a tricky affair. Regulator would also benefit from a sound gallop with stall 1 a help and Super Florence shouldn't be dismissed either.

15:45 - RASHEEQ (5) was strong in the betting when fourth at Ayr last time, and caught the eye too, possible that he would have won with a clear run. There's no doubt he's of interest from this sort of mark, and is well up to winning a race of this nature. Ocelot also attracted support last time and looks the main danger.

16:20 - ORIENTAL LILLY (2) will doubtless adopt exaggerated waiting tactics trying a mile for the first time, but this is unlikely to be a stiff test over the trip and she could represent value in an open affair. Sayem and Crotchet head the opposition.

16:55 - ARCHIVE (1) pulled clear of the rest when a good second over C&D last time, and shaped better than the bare result to boot. That was his first start for eight months and he remains of interest. Low mileage four-year-old Big Sigh has dropped to a tempting mark and is feared most.

17:25 - OUR PLACE IN LOULE (1) saw off a next-time-out winner over this C&D three weeks ago and this isn't a deeper race, so he seems sure to go well in his quest for the follow-up having been raised 3 lb. Groundworker and Bonanza Bowls head the opposition.
