Olly Murphy: Brewin'upastorm in good form to win our first Grade 1 on Grand National day

Brewin'upastorm will bid to give Olly Murphy his first Grade 1 winner on Saturday

Brewin'upastorm is Olly Murphy's only runner on Grand National day but he has a big chance in the Grade 1 Novice Hurdle, as the Betfair Ambassador explains...

"The way he travelled in Cheltenham really pleased me but ultimately he just didn't get up the hill and was ran out of third close home. I wasn't to despondent as we know that we have a horse."

Aintree 14:25 - Brewin'upastorm

I thought he would give a good account of himself in Cheltenham and he didn't disappoint when finishing fourth. He had been mixing it with some of the best staying novices prior to that and it was great to see him hold his own again.

The way he travelled in Cheltenham really pleased me but ultimately he just didn't get up the hill and was ran out of third close home. I wasn't to despondent as we know that we have a horse. The drop back to 2m4f here and a flat track like Aintree will definitely suit him better than Cheltenham did but the one concern, which you don't really know until you run them, is will this race come too soon after the festival.

He's in great form at home so my expectation is that it doesn't.

All Grade ones are hard to win and this is no exception but fingers crossed this fellow can give us a first win at the highest level.
