All the major market movers on the Betfair Exchange ahead of Grand National day at Aintree...
We start with the first Grade 1 of the day at 14:25 where Black Op is completely friendless drifting from [2.74] out to [4.1]. Despite finishing an excellent second to Samcro in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, layers clearly feel that run has taken a lot off him with the market suggesting that the fresh On The Blind Side is the likely winner of the race at a current price of [2.78].
Testing conditions look to be hindering the chances of The Worlds End in the Grade 1 3m Hurdle with a drift from [7.56] out to [11.0]. Both Sam Spinner and Wholestone at the top of the market remain very solid at [2.26] and [3.95] respectively.
Moving onto the Grand National we have identified several movers of interest. On the drift we have both Anibale Fly [16.0] and Blaklion [18.5] despite both being well fancied in the lead up to the race. Selections at bigger prices that we have seen solid support for are I Just Know [19.5], Raz De Maree [25.0], Shantou Flyer [30.0] and Chase The Spud [44.0] who is the best backed horse in the Grand National so far.
