Doncaster NAP - 15:00 - Back Darnation

Darnation looked a smart prospect when following up her wide-margin novice win in the Prestige Stakes at Goodwood last time, asserting late on to land the spoils by two lengths in comfortable fashion.

That form sets the standard here on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings and the small 'p' attached to her figure denotes that she is likely to progress further, especially now stepping up to a mile.

Trained by Karl Burke - who won Sunday's Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes with another talented two-year-old filly, Fallen Angel - Darnation is fancied to complete the hat-trick to put herself in contention for top honours at the end of the season.

Doncaster Next Best - 13:50 - Back Chic Colombine

Chic Colombine has won her last two starts in good style, first getting off the mark in a maiden at Newcastle in June and then taking another big step forward after 10 weeks off to follow up on her nursery debut at Haydock.

She was well on top at the finish on the last occasion, hitting the front in the final furlong and quickly forging clear from there to win by three and a quarter lengths with plenty in hand.

On that showing, Chic Colombine is potentially well treated here under a 6 lb penalty and another bold bid seems assured if it doesn't come too soon after just seven days off.

Doncaster Each-Way - 13:15 - Back Rambuso Creek

Rambuso Creek confirmed his return to form when finishing fourth at Pontefract last month, passing the post only three lengths behind the winner and looking unlucky not to finish closer still having been denied a run approaching the final furlong.

That was another big step back in the right direction and it's surely just a matter of time before he regains the winning thread having been dropped 2 lb in the weights on the back of that run.
