"David Simcock's runner drops into a Group 3, having contested Group 1 company on eight of his last nine starts in Britain and France, with the other a Group 2 on seasonal return.
"His recent narrow defeat at Deauville, when tipped in this column at a big price, saw him well supported and denied a clear run at a crucial stage by the smart Inspiral, and a repeat of that form will be easily good enough to land this event....
"His current 13/82.63 or bigger is acceptable for a bet, but I have a feeling he may drift, so I couldn't put you off using the BSP."
"I still think my antepost pick Caius Chorister remains a very fair price at 9/2 each way - I seriously considered going in again here - but the way I am playing this tipping-wise is to sit with my ante-post position on him, add Aztec Empire at 9/2 each way, four places, with the Sportsbook and do a reverse forecast on the pair.
"I don't fancy many in here, with the possible exception of 12/1 poke Get Shirty, and I want Aztec Empire onside after a clearly unlucky second here last time. A 3lb rise surely won't stop him from being very competitive here."
"Mill Stream isn't all that different to Shaquille in terms of profile in that he has shown substantial improvement this year. Of course, he has yet to reach the sort of level that Shaquille has, but the promise is there.
"He has been particularly impressive in his last two starts in France and while more will be required here, his arc of improvement is such that more progression could well be forthcoming. He represents a fascinating alternative to Shaquille."
"At the time of writing, prolific three-year-old Shaquille is set to go off the shortest-priced favourite for this race in the last ten years. Only Starman (Evens) and Harry Angel (6/4) went off close to his short odds, and they were beaten in this contest. Still, his price reflects his dominating performance in landing the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup and July Stakes this season.
"Julie Camacho's three-year-old is a winner of seven of his eight career starts, but he doesn't come without quirks. He tends to miss the break, and although that didn't stop him from emphatically winning the competitive Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, it's not a trait punters will be happy with at short odds."
Betfair ambassador Ryan Moore has seven rides at Leopardstown, including Auguste Rodin in the Irish Champion Stakes. His price will be boosted on Saturday so check back then to get the odds.
Here's what Ryan had to say about his ride's chances:
"My colt obviously has a big question to answer after his lifeless run in the King George, but if he returns to his Epsom form then he has a big chance. He is in very good shape for this. But you have to respect plenty in here, not least last year's 1-2 of Luxembourg and Onesto. The former is rock-solid, while the latter shaped very well over a mile on his return in the Jacques Le Marois and could be very dangerous."
