With just over two weeks before Betfair Chase weekend at Haydock the entries have been announced for the three feature races on Saturday's card, the Betfair Hurdle, the Betfair Handicap Hurdle, and the big race itself the Betfair Chase...

"Silviniaco Conti, who delighted Nicholls in a recent spin over hurdles at Kempton, has been introduced as the 7/4 favourite in Betfair's ante-post Sportsbook market.

The Betfair Chase

A total of 18 top class steeplechasers have been entered for the prestigious Betfair Chase on 21 November including two-time winner of the race Silvianaco Conti, last year's Gold Cup hero Coneygree, recent Charlie Hall winner Cue Card, and officially the highest rated chaser in Britain or Ireland, Don Cossack.

Silvianaco Conti - trained by Betfair Ambassador Paul Nicholls - won the race in 2012 and came back to regain his crown last year by beating the Philip Hobbs-trained Menorah under Noel Fehily. The nine-year-old, who delighted Nicholls in a recent spin over hurdles at Kempton, has been introduced as the 7/4 favourite in Betfair's ante-post Sportsbook market.

Second favourite at 11/4 is Gordon Elliott's star chaser Don Cossack. A stunning 26-length winner of last season's Melling Chase the eight-year-old has come back from his summer break to win two graded races in his homeland and is reported to be in fantastic shape ahead of a trip to Haydock.

Winner of the Betfair Chase in 2013 Cue Card - available to back at 4/1 - looked back to his old self in winning the Charlie Hall Chase last Saturday and is sure to present a strong challenge once more, while last season's Gold Cup heroine Coneygree (8/1) will be a danger to all if taking his chance.

Don Cossack - 11/4

The Betfair 'Price Rush' Hurdle

John Ferguson is responsible for almost half of the 19 entries for the Betfair Hurdle including 5/1 joint favourite Devilment and the unbeaten novice Penglai Pavilion (14/1).

Nicky Henderson also looks to have a strong hand with last season's second and third in the Triumph Hurdle Top Notch (7/1) and Hargam (11/2) among the entries, while My Tent Or Yours - winner of the 2013 Betfair Handicap Hurdle - could return from injury following a whole season on the sidelines.

Paul Nicholls is set to be doubly represented with improving four-year-old All Yours (10/1) and last season's Fighting Fifth winner Irving (8/1).
