With hindsight we probably didn't make enough use of him at Huntingdon last time as he was a bit free and fighting Henry for his head. His previous run in the Sedgefield bumper was quite promising and he had won a point previously - there's definitely an engine there if we can get him settled. It's a big field and competitive enough without looking to feature any superstars - Nick Slatter being able to take off 6lb is handy too. He's probably my best chance over the weekend but that wouldn't necessarily be a glowing endorsement!
He was off the track for a long time after he won at Bangor a couple of years ago and he just hasn't looked the same horse this time round. He is dropping down the weights but he's got plenty to prove and, for the grade, this looks plenty competitive enough.
