Mark your card - Tuesday
The Betfair Sportsbook are paying extra places on three races today!
We kick off the mark your card section in France where there are four group races to get stuck into.
Exceptional trainer Andre Fabre is looking for a treble in the 13:25 Prix Six Perfections Sky Sports Racing with his unbeaten Fillie Zellie.
Favourites have an excellent record winning five of the last ten runnings of the 14:35, and trainer JC Rouget unleashed Prix de L'Arc fifth Raabiha in this race last term.
On the same card, the feature race at 14:00 Prix Rothschild is our race of the day, but the race has been won by three or four-year-old's nine of the last ten years and will see Mother Earth and Primo Bacio renew rivalry - come on Primo!
At Nottingham in the 18:50 National Racehorse Week 12th-19th September Novice Stakes, the race has produced progressive handicappers to keep on side from the last two runnings, with both winners achieving a rating between 95-100.
Oisin could be key for target trainers
At Ffos Las, trainer Rod Milman will attempt to land the 15:35 Carmarthenshire P2P @Ffos Las On 21st November Handicap for the third successive time with Sweet Pursuit.
He has booked last year's winning jockey Oisin Murphy for the ride, although he will have stiff competition from Gilt Edge.
Also at Ffos Las, Oisin Murphy rides Harrow for trainer Andrew Balding who will bid to win the 14:25 www.foreverpuppy.co.uk EBF Novice Stakes race for the third consecutive year.
A race he has won with very useful horses Fox Tal and Berlin Tango the last two years.
Weighted to go well
"Weighted to go well" found winner Bellevarde at Windsor yesterday and today highlights three horses running that are more than 10lbs below their last winning handicap mark.
15.55 Catterick - International Lion - Has won off 60 now down to 47
17.15 Ffos Las - Right Action - Has won off 75 now down to 65
20:00 Lingfield - The Warrior - Has won off 61 now down to 51

Race of the day
It's hard to focus on any race other than the excellent 14:00 Prix Rothschild (Group 1) (3yo+ Fillies & Mares) in France. A top-class renewal and one I have a strong fancy in and a race not to be missed.
Mother Earth, English 1,000 Guineas winner and standard-setter on her excellent Falmouth Stakes runner-up effort last month and a worthy favourite of today's race.
The Falmouth could have worked out better with the third and fourth scoring in Group 1 since she looks like a winner in waiting on that evidence.
However, that performance has not been missed by the masses and she was well-positioned in the race to have every chance. She may lack the improvement a few of these have today, with her form seemingly levelling out.
The heavy ground may have been against German raider Novemba when an excellent fourth in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot fading late on.
A repeat of that run will put her right in the mix today, and she likely has a bit more to come yet off the back of that career-best performance.
She is the likely pace angle in this race and a bold front runner who could prove hard to catch if getting her fractions right and must be feared.
Primo Bacio put up arguably one of the best performances of the season when scooting clear of her rivals at York but was never going to be suited by the undulating track of Newmarket in the Falmouth.
It's to her credit she managed to finish an excellent fifth after being denied a clear run from an unpromising position on two occasions and giving Mother Earth the first run.
That performance suggested we still haven't gotten to the bottom of her, and the French style of racing could really suit on this straight track.
She looks destined for the top and possess the smartest turn of foot in the line-up, and is worth a recommended bet at the current odds to claim this Group 1 prize.
Back Gilt Edge to confirm form with rivals
Gilt Edge was just outstayed last time here over seven furlongs, but the drop back to today's trip of 6f in the 15:35 Carmarthenshire P2P @Ffos Las On 21st November Handicap looks a good move by connections.
She has been in excellent form this term and has shown a liking for this course with two wins from three runs. Today's small field scenario should suit her well, and she showed her superiority over Sweet Pursuit when having her in behind last time out.
Sarah's Verse seems to save her best form for Bath, and Strong Power, who is the danger dropping in grade, saves his best for the all-weather so course form can come to the fore here.
A busy day on the punting front with all eyes drawn to France's big one today, so all that's left to say is be lucky, and until tomorrow come on, Primo!
