Trainers zero in on targets
Trainer Tim Easterby won the 15:55 at Thirsk in 2015, 2016 and then finished runner-up in 2017 before an eighth-place finish in 2018. He returns to the race today with Summer Power 4.57/2.
Trainer Eve Johnson Houghton is looking for her third and back to back success in the 15:00 Harry Bloom Memorial "Brighton Bullet" Handicap with 2019 winner Tin Hat 13.012/1.
Owner outfit Godolphin likes to target newcomers at the 18:08 at Newmarket, and they have yielded form figures of 22318031 in the last eight runnings and saddle the superbly bred Hafit 2.56/4.
At Haydock, Roger Charlton will look for his second win in the 19:52 David Rayment "Now I'm 64" Fillies' Handicap with a second Juddmonte owned runner in Siyata 2.47/5.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor sends one runner to Haydock in Arabian Warrior 5.04/1, who runs in the 20:25 Watch On Racing TV Handicap.
Oisin Murphy red hot with 11 winners in five days
He has six rides at Haydock today for those looking to follow a jockey in form, and he has a realistic chance of riding a treble.

Race of the day
A small but classy field of four goes to post for the 15:20 British EBF Conditions Stakes at Thirsk, and it looks to be an intriguing race to get stuck into.
Lord Of The Lodge is the market leader at the time of writing and enters this conditions race as top-rated in the field and comes off much the best at the weights.
Seven furlongs is undoubtedly his ideal trip, but he needs to bounce back from a poor effort in a Group 3 last time, and his overall profile on turf is starting to look a bit suspect.
Despite the small field, he may prove vulnerable to a stronger stayer with stern competition for the lead.
Azano is likely to put it up to Lord Of The Lodge on the front end, and this bold front runner looked as though he might be running himself back into form.
It's been two years since he has gotten his head in front, but he has some solid form in defeat during that time. There is a chance he needs a soft lead, and although the drop back to today's trip is a positive given his free going nature, he is exposed.
The drop back to today's seven furlongs may not be a big positive for Prince Eiji, but the strong pace on offer is, and he looks the one to benefit from a pace collapse should the front two take each other on.
He ran as well as can be expected in the Queen Anne last time after running too freely, and this is more his level.
He boasts a good piece of course form from a similar event here last August behind the smart Dream Castle, and this looks like a good opportunity to get his head in front for the first time since his debut.

A two pound rise is very, very lenient from Mr Handicapper
The handicapper looks to have taken a dim view of Siyata's recent easy handicap debut win at Ffos Las by nudging her up just two pounds, and she can exploit that today against some suspect stayers in the 19:52 David Rayment "Now I'm 64" Fillies' Handicap.
Patient tactics seem to work the oracle, and she took a big step forward to beat a subsequent winner, Gilt Edge, who is somewhat of a course specialist.
That piece of form looks reliable given the second and third confirmed form next time, and the fifth was a winner next time. She looks a filly on an upward curve for a trainer that won this with a similar type in 2020.
She is short enough for my punting but looks like one of the stand-out bets on the Haydock card, so she can't be ignored.
Final Word
What a frustrating evening at Doncaster with the Racing League tips last night. A very small profit was secured, but it could have been so much better.
Akkeringa was slowly out of the stalls only to steam home. Tahitian Prince was done on the line at double-figure odds, and then HMS President bested into second by half a length.
I've had my pants pulled down the last few days, so hopefully, the next time you hear from me, the run of seconds is long gone!
Until Monday, have a great weekend and be lucky.
