1.30 Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1) (1) 2m87y

Timeform Top Rated:
169p 1. ALTIOR Nicky Henderson Nico de Boinville
167P 6. MIN W. P. Mullins R. Walsh
166P 3. BUVEUR D'AIR Nicky Henderson Noel Fehily

Analyst's Verdict:
The highly-regarded Min confirmed himself a high-class prospect when successful in the Moscow Flyer at Punchestown in January and can win a fourth successive Supreme for connections. Nicky Henderson has saddled plenty of horses who've gone close in this race in recent years and his pair Altior and Buveur d'Air complete the shortlist.

2.10 Racing Post Arkle Challenge Trophy Chase (Grade 1) (1) 1m7f199y

Timeform Top Rated:
185p 3. DOUVAN W. P. Mullins R. Walsh
171 5. SIZING JOHN Henry de Bromhead J. J. Burke
170 6. THE GAME CHANGER Gordon Elliott B. J. Cooper

Analyst's Verdict:
The top-class Douvan had already scared off much of the opposition before 2 Grade 1 chase wins this winter (faced just 5 horses in total in those races) and looks a level above any of his rivals here. Sizing John is selected for the forecast.

2.50 Ultima Handicap Chase (Grade 3) (1) 3m1f

Timeform Top Rated:
169p 17. OUT SAM Warren Greatrex Gavin Sheehan
166 2. HOLYWELL Jonjo O'Neill Richie McLernon
166 9. KRUZHLININ Philip Hobbs Richard Johnson

Analyst's Verdict:
Out Sam is inexperienced for a race of this nature but is a potential handicap blot with his Newbury form given a big boost since. Kruzhlinin made an impressive start for the Philip Hobbs team at Kempton in January and could easily have more to offer for his new stable, while Southfield Theatre wasn't at his best in 2 starts earlier in the season but has twice been runner-up at this meeting.

3.30 Stan James Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy (Grade 1) (1) 2m87y

Timeform Top Rated:
180 13. ANNIE POWER W. P. Mullins R. Walsh
176 8. PEACE AND CO Nicky Henderson Nico de Boinville
175? 5. MY TENT OR YOURS Nicky Henderson Barry Geraghty

Analyst's Verdict:
Annie Power is a high-class substitute to replace the sidelined Faugheen for same connections and she can become the first mare since Flakey Dove in 1994 to win the Champion Hurdle, with the drop back in trip unlikely to be a problem. It's an open contest behind her, with The New One, Identity Thief and Nichols Canyon all closely matched, while Camping Ground makes each-way appeal at bigger odds.

4.10 OLBG Mares' Hurdle (David Nicholson) (Grade 1) (1) 2m3f200y

Timeform Top Rated:
167P 20. VROUM VROUM MAG W. P. Mullins R. Walsh
166 14. POLLY PEACHUM Nicky Henderson David Bass
165 2. BITOFAPUZZLE Harry Fry Noel Fehily

Analyst's Verdict:
Vroum Vroum Mag is unbeaten in 8 starts since joining Willie Mullins and is impossible to oppose as she bids to enhance her stable's outstanding record in this contest. Last year's runner-up Polly Peachum arrives on the back of a Sandown listed win and looks primed to go well again, while things haven't gone to plan for Bitofapuzzle over fences but she was placed in this 12 months ago.

4.50 National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup (Amateur Riders' Novices' Chase) (Listed) (1) 3m7f170y

Timeform Top Rated:
168 20. BALLYCHORUS Mrs Margaret Mullins Mr Steven Clements
162p 6. MEASUREOFMYDREAMS W. P. Mullins Ms K. Walsh
162p 9. NOBLE ENDEAVOR Gordon Elliott Mr J. J. Codd

Analyst's Verdict:
Ballychorus has much better form claims than her odds suggest, and her yard's 2 previous Cheltenham Festival runners finished first and third, so she earns the vote. Minella Rocco is an obvious contender representing connections with a particularly good record in this race, while Southfield Royale and Local Show should be suited by this extreme trip.

5.30 Close Brothers Novices' Handicap Chase (Listed) (1) 2½m78y

Timeform Top Rated:
156p 2. ALOOMOMO Warren Greatrex Gavin Sheehan
155 8. JAVERT Emma Lavelle Sean Bowen
154+ 12. WILLOW'S SAVIOUR Dan Skelton Harry Skelton

Analyst's Verdict:
Aloomomo has come a very long way in a short space of time this season, racking up a quick-fire hat-trick at Newbury before his spin over hurdles last month. He also has plenty of experience for a novice so looks the most solid option. Willow's Saviour, Javert and Amore Alato head many potential dangers.
