Fresh from tipping Vibe Queen at Chester yesterday, Nick Shiambouros is back with three selections from Ascot and Nottingham...

"One colt that has caught my eye is the improving Agent Murphy, who could score at a nice price."

Back Agent Murphy in the Sportsbook at 5/1 in the 14:35 at Ascot

14:35 Ascot - Agent Murphy

This is a fascinating Listed event featuring some nice staying individuals. One colt that has caught my eye is the improving Agent Murphy, who could score at a nice price.

This Cape Cross colt ended last season with an excellent third to Battersea in a competitive handicap over this course last September. He hit a bit of a flat spot two furlongs from home, but got the hang of things inside the final furlong and finished strongly.

I think he has a bright future and is attractively priced in the Sportsbook at 5/1.

14:25 Nottingham - Accra Beach

This maiden should go to Accra Beach who was turned over at short odds at Newbury last August. He had previously finished a promising second to Heartbreak Hero at Windsor which reads well in the context of this race.

I think this well related gelding by Speightsown will put these rivals to the sword and should be backed in the Sportsbook at 11/10.

The Michael Buckley owned Mickey Haller, who was a little disappointing last time out should follow the selection home.

16:10 Nottingham - Newsletter

This is a very interesting Listed race featuring fillies and mares looking for that elusive Black Type.

At the head of the market is Spinatrix who has ten victories to her name, but has yet to win in Listed company or above. She beat Blithe Spirit in great style on her seasonal reappearance over this course last month, but is way too short in the market at 3.613/5. I think I can afford to let her win at that price.

The filly that makes most appeal to me is Newsletter who finished third in the Queen Mary last year.

She finished a closing third to Zuhoor Baynoona in a Listed race at Bath last month which should put her spot on for this competitive race.

I think the play here is to back her in the place market at around 3.185/40. She has missed the break in her last two starts, but will be running on at the finish. She should get a piece of this at the very least.
