Nick Shiambouros was on the mark yesterday when his best bet Golden Stunner won. Nick turns his attentions to Windsor where he has two fancies from the evening card...
"I think he is going to have a productive season and is attractively priced at 4.216/5 on the exchange"
18:15 Windsor - Foresight
Foresight should be good enough to take this maiden.
This colt put in an improved effort when finishing second to Maximian at Doncaster last month. He delivered a strong challenge inside the final furlong, and was only just denied. I think he is open to further improvement and should go very close.
He is trading at 2.285/4 on the exchange which is just about right.
Jayjinski is the second choice at 5.14/1. He finished a close second in a Salisbury maiden earlier this month, but may not be entirely straightforward. He has been turned over three times as the market leader, and I have zero interest in him at this price.
19:15 Windsor - Strath Burn
Strath Burn is worth an investment in this interesting Listed contest.
This colt ended last season finishing down the field behind Muhaarar in the British Champions Sprint at Ascot. He is best judged on his second to Twilight Son in the Betfred Sprint Cup Haydock in September. He was flying at the finish, and would have overhauled the winner in another stride.
I think he is going to have a productive season and is attractively priced at 4.216/5 on the exchange.
The Tin Man appears to be the main danger. He finished fourth in the British Champions Sprint and is another sprinter who should have a good year.
He is fairly priced at 4.3100/30 but the Fanshawe stable has yet to get going and may just need the outing.
