Bets of the Day: David Pipe can continue the yard's good form with Timeforben

Timeforben to make it two wins from two starts at Worcester

Alan's best bet of the day was a welcome winner yesterday and he looks to get another one on the board with two selections at Worcester and Kempton...

"won over course and distance two starts ago and was just narrowly beaten when running her bets race to date on her latest start"

Back Timeforben @ 9/4 in the 18:15 at Worcester (Sportsbook)

It is Timeforben to get his head in front again

Timeforben looks like a worthy favourite to me in this Handicap Hurdle, he arrives here in good form and is from a yard that are hitting their fair share of winners. She won over course and distance two starts ago and was just narrowly beaten when running her best race to date on her latest start at Uttoxeter last month. The David Pipe mare has won two of her four starts in handicap company and although has been given an extra 2lbs here looks like she is progressing and can handle it.

There are plenty of doubts about most of the field and her main danger could be the top weight Masterofdeception, but he has a very strange profile and has only been seen on a racetrack once in 2016 and 2017. He makes another return today after a long abscence and while he isn't one I could back any market move would have to make him interesting. On the plus side he does go well fresh and this is a drop in grade but I don't like his profile and Timeforben looks a much better option to me at the time of writing.

The force is strong for Jedhi

This looks a competitive heat but you can't help but be impressed with Jedhi who was a big improver when just failing by a short head on her handicap debut over course and distance last week. The front two were well clear on that occasion and it may just have been a bit of inexperience that beat her more than anything else. She is obviously well handicapped here and can provide a winner for Hughie Morrison.

This will only be the fourth start for the unexposed filly and there could be plenty more to come, the three-year-old filly is due to go up 5lbs for that run in the future. Getting in here off 70, the same mark she ran off last time, has to make her a serious player tonight.
