Sunday Prospect was a winner for Alan Dudman yesterday at a tasty [10.0]. He has two bets at decent prices for Wednesday's action at Newcastle....
"The horse also finished second over course and distance last year from a 4lb higher rating."
Archibelle to enjoy return to the north east
The first bet takes a leap of faith with the disclaimer inserted early. Archibelle is temperamental and doesn't win very often.
However, this is a weak race and not only has she won over course and distance in the grade, she finished second over trip and track back in May - and that was a much better contest than this evening's. She was also unlucky in that, as she was hammered on the rail two furlongs from home.
She was last seen running terribly at Ayr, but that was 117 days ago and she's had a break since then.
Archibelle stays the 2m well and acts at the track. She has something going for her at the price.
Camacho runner can go well at massive odds
We'll go for another double-figure price with Planetaria, and he's also worth considering in the 4 Places market.
He hasn't won on the all-weather in 12 attempts and is clearly vulnerable to the three-year-olds in the field, but he has a better chance than the market is predicting here.
I started with the negatives, but here are the positives; he can win from his mark of 66, and he acts at the track. The horse also finished second over course and distance last year from a 4lb higher rating. The headgear has certainly improved him of late.
Planetaria was a little unlucky at Beverley when last seen, as he met trouble whilst picking up and certainly would have gone closer.
His trainer Julie Camacho has fired in two winners and a second from her last eight runners.
